Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This policy explains how AnonDrift handles account data, session data, cookies, local storage, moderation data, and support requests.
What We Collect
We collect the information needed to operate the service, such as account email, username, password hash, chat metadata, group content, support submissions, moderation signals, and technical logs. Guest sessions use temporary identifiers and reserved nicknames.
Cookies and Local Storage
AnonDrift uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, preserve session state, restore chat state, store consent state, and support live application behavior. Some features may not work if these are disabled.
How We Use Data
We use data to provide chat features, secure accounts, reduce abuse, moderate harmful activity, investigate bugs, respond to reports, comply with legal obligations, and improve service quality.
Chat and Retention
Some chats are temporary and some are persisted depending on the feature. Group chats and accepted direct chats may be stored. Temporary random-chat behavior may still create operational records needed for session handling, moderation, and abuse prevention.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or to respond to valid legal process.
Children and Sensitive Information
Do not share personal details such as real name, address, phone number, photos, or social accounts with strangers through the service. If we learn that prohibited personal data or underage misuse is involved, we may remove content and restrict access.
Your Choices
You can stop using the service, log out, request support, and where available update or delete account information. Browser settings can also control cookies and local storage, though core features may stop working.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after publication of changes means you accept the updated policy.
